Happy Mother’s Day 2022… I’m reminded of a poem by Khalil Gibran, “Yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision, but today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.” What is your vision for mothers today? In times past, mothers stayed home with their children, nurtured and cared for them, tended the house, baked goodies, and created projects to help them learn. Then came the days of working mothers who earned a living for the family while attempting to be superwomen and continuing the legacy of motherhood. What is the role mothers play on our Earth today?
