Spirits of Amoskeag

My team helps people clear their houses of spirits as part of the clearing sessions. We don’t need to be present in the place, the person who has experienced the energy simply needs to tap into the energy while in a light hypnotic trance. Most people use sage or yell at spirits to chase them away without knowing that the spirit simply goes to someone else and will usually return. When a shaman uses sage it is part of a ceremony where the spirits are carried on the smoke through prayer. In our sessions, we speak to the spirit with kindness, openness, and compassion. Similar to finding a child lost in the woods, the spirit usually tells us their story and we help them find their way to the light. Most of the time, they are just lost and want to be heard.

One of my most significant house clearing stories involved an assisted living facility outside of Manchester, NH. Some of you may have heard of the stories in my first book: The Spirits of Amoskeag, the Wounded Heroes of the Manchester Mills. I was hired by a group of employees to figure out what was going on at their place of employment. It seems they had attended far too many funerals over the prior two-year period. Curiously it wasn’t the residents who were dying; the funerals were for the employee’s family members who had died unexpectedly and unusually. Of less than fifty employees, they had attended 10 funerals of relatively young family members in two years, and there were several strange accidents.

The Great Unspeakable

Since I conduct spiritually guided hypnosis sessions, they wanted me to facilitate a clearing of the land and buildings at the assisted living facility. We started the investigation with a powerful psychic who had a strong sense that there were numerous bodies down an adjacent ravine. We then did hypnosis sessions with a person from their staff to communicate with the spirits. Dozens of spirits came through and spoke of atrocities that were endured by the children who worked in the manufacturing mills in the 1800s. Most of these children were orphans. They said that they caused the accidents to get attention so people would notice them and hear their stories. They described what was called the Great Unspeakable. It was horrific. The children were used to crawl into the large hydro-powered equipment to oil, mend, and repair them. There were no on-off switches and no regulations. These children worked long intense hours for little pay. The leaders at the mills considered the children expendable. When they would get hurt, the injured were taken to the basement, killed, and placed into barrels. Undercover of night, they were taken several miles away by cart and dumped unceremoniously in piles and were then covered by garbage or dead animals so no one would notice the bodies.

We spoke with a lead spirit named David who said he would take the others into the light if we promised to tell their story. We agreed and assisted hundreds of young spirits into the light. We then set out to write their story. I had recorded everything and started investigating. Soon after, the woman who hired me left the assisted living facility and took another job. Life got busy, I got distracted, and nothing was done.

Keeping My Word

Fast forward… ten years later, I met Peter, an amazing man who wanted to use my services to gain confidence to get a good job. He offered to help me write a book. I have lots of books to write, so many stories to share… so I took him up on his offer. After a few weeks, he secured a great job as vice president of sales, and I fell and broke my wrist. In my meditation, I heard a young voice say, “What about our book – you promised!” Oh my goodness… they were right! I did! I reached out to the woman who hired me and said we need to write their story. She refused, saying there was nothing more to do. I asked her to at least call back to the Assisted Living Facility to see if there had been any changes since we did the clearing ten years earlier. She did and discovered that in the two years she worked there, they experienced 16 major incidents, including 10 deaths. In the ten years since the clearing, there was nothing. Everything stopped. They kept their word, now it was time for me to keep mine.

While in trance, I asked Peter to travel back in time to see what book we were to write. He immediately went to the middle of the Manchester mills in 1888. We gathered several more heartbreaking and insightful stories from a variety of different spirits, ones who did the killing, wives of the supervisors who were mandating the genocide, and even an orphanage owner who was devastated at what had happened to her children. We ended up helping hundreds of additional spirits into the light. We even set out to investigate who may have owned the land in an attempt to prove who was responsible. We did… the land was owned by Amoskeag Manufacturing Company.

Additional Bodies and Sites

After this book was published, Peter and I continued our work to clear the mills and the lands around Manchester. At one point, several of the management perpetrators came through and asked for forgiveness. They explained that the horrific process started because initially the children were so badly mangled that they did not know what to do with their little bodies. They told us that the children were treated gently and described the process of euthanizing them in order to prevent additional pain. The practice of exterminating all who were injured got out of hand.

We asked them for more information, and they showed us three additional sites where hundreds more children are buried. Most sites have been covered or built over, so the bodies would not be discoverable. They showed us a white house in a nearby area where some children were taken for healing. Some untouched bodies could be found on those grounds. We investigated the location of this house and could have started the process to excavate the children’s bodies, however, we decided to let them rest in peace. Instead, we asked a priest to hold a mass in their honor.

Since the perpetrators were remorseful of their actions, Archangel Michael took them to a place of atonement for their transgressions. For anyone who has done crimes such as these against humanity, their spirit holds themselves accountable for their actions. Even if a spirit feels they got away with something in their lifetime, they must atone for their misdeeds in the afterlife.

Cupcake and Candle

On Memorial Day weekend, one year after the book was published, I gave a presentation on the Spirits story to a group of psychic and intuitive people. One gifted woman saw the spirit of a young boy standing next to me during my presentation holding a cupcake with a single lit candle wanting to give it to me. She kept telling the boy: “Not right now, she’s talking!” Oh my goodness… I realized that day was the actual one-year anniversary of the first printed copy of their book placed in my hands. Even though I had not realized that fact… they remembered and wanted to say thank you.

Sadly, in 2019, over 700 of their books burned in a warehouse fire the same weekend that the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris burned. I was devastated. Yet, these young spirits comforted me, saying they were grateful that I honored them by acknowledging their story. They said my next book was more important, and I should focus on the Chronicles of Hope series, which I have done.

For a time, we continued to pursue the potential of locating Marie’s box. I even reached out to Catholic Charities in Canada to see if they could find evidence of her ledgers. So far, nothing has surfaced. Yet, much is brewing in the world to expose decades of children’s suffering at the hands of those in power. I continue to hold the torch for child distress. My heart goes out to all children who have suffered at the hands of neglect or abuse. We continue to pray for children and gently assist the lost ones into the light of hope with love.
